Saw a few mentions of this online today and just bought it. Soundtrack to my day. Lil Wayne always makes me laugh & want to dance, which is a good combination I think (unless you’ve seen my dancing).

I’ve been playing this album constantly since last year and now have bought all their other albums too and am completely obsessed. Huge, driving beat and gloomy portentious lyrics, like the best of Interpol with a bit more life experience.

I don’t think this track made their album, which I’m really looking forward to hearing, despite this amazing song not being on it. Beautiful soulful yearning music, stripped down and un-selfconscious. Bit like the band name.

I’ve been coming back to this classic a lot recently. It’s got the warmth and soul and heart that all great electronic music has. Perfect for a cold day. Or a hot day, not that I’ve seen many of those recently.

Just ridiculously incredible and incredibly ridiculous.

Not a week has gone by for years when I haven’t played this. The rumour is that he introduced the Stones to country music and “Wild Horses” and the Stones introduced him to heroin. Not a fair swap really.
