On sitting down in front of 100 students at Goldsmiths College this Monday, my first thought was that they could ask anything, and that frankly made me a bit nervous. Not because we have an skeletons in our cupboard, or have anything to be ashamed of, but just because we haven’t done this before. It’s easy to hide behind what we do ‘because we know best’ – BUT, in this scenario, was it time for us to explain ourselves!?

As you would expect at a record label we quite often see artists coming and going during the day. Now and again these artists get together and create something a little special. Last week Mercury’s reception was invaded by Dappy, Tinchy Stryder, Pixie Lott and the crew from SBTV for this spontaneous acoustic performance of Spaceship.

Straight to the hotel to check in and I’m off to the Dome to collect my pass, then on to Komedia to see the Deep Sea Arcade.
